JK Industrial Services: IT SEC on the highest standard

JK Industrial Services is offering the SECTRA TIGER high-security mobile telephone, developed in cooperation with Swedish IT firm SECTRA and the Swedish Armed Forces. The SECTRA TIGER is a secure, dual-mode GSM/DECT telephone that complies with the ITSEC and Tempest standards. All calls are secured through the use of end-to-end encryption methods such as DES, 3-DES and Twofish. It uses an ordinary SIM card and has the same flexibility as a GSM phone.

Multi-band multi-role radio: initial success for Thomson-CSF and DASA
Article Abstract:
Euroradio GmbH, a joint ventury equally owned by Thomson-CSF Comsys and DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG, has been awarded a contract to for a study of a multi-band multi-role radio (MMR) system. The contract, which was awarded by the German Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement in behalf of the French and German Defense Ministries, inlcudes the design and development of an Advanced Demonstrator Mock-up of a MMR system.
