Takfiri presence grows in Europe

Article Abstract:

The extreme Islamist movement known as Al-Takfir wa al-Hijra (excommunication and exile) is one of the radical Islamist movements that have established its presence in Europe by creating centers engaged in proselytizing and recruiting for militant jihad. The Western security agencies are responding more actively to the threat posed by Tafkiri adherents, as they are afraid that what has long been a support base for activists in other parts of the world might become operational in Europe.

Traffickers turn from Balkan conduit to 'northern' route

Article Abstract:

This has been brought about, at least in part, by more stringent anti-narcotics measures in Iran.
