The Pakistan Navy

Article Abstract:

The Pakistan Navy, in its role as the custodian of its maritime interests, is constantly endeavoring to be operationally prepared for all contingencies along its 1,064km long coast and within its 200nm exclusive economic zone according to UNCLOS III Treaty, and has gained the reputation of being a professional and efficient force over the years. A description of the organization of Pakistan Navy that stands as an effective and efficient arm of the country's Armed Forces, fully capable of protecting Pakistan's maritime interest and maintaining deterrence, is presented.

The Royal Thai Navy

Article Abstract:

The Royal Thailand Navy (RTN) takes care of both the Andaman Sea as well as the Gulf of Thailand and also protects the country's borders from any spillover resulting from the internal insurgencies that plague neighboring states, Cambodia and Myanmar. The present and future naval modernization programmes and also the impact of funding deficits on the future naval procurement programmes are discussed.
