The bold and the restless

Article Abstract:

The staff officer in charge of the coordination effort of the four Services speaks about his 22 years experience in the Marine Corps where his priority is to forge future leaders into the most capable of commanders. He states that a Marine's performance as a staff officer might be more important than his or her performance in command billets, simply because of longer service time in staff positions compared to command opportunities.
