The Marine expeditionary force intelligence sources should be combined for more efficient operation. Suggestions for consolidation, as well as the anticipated challenges and benefits, are discussed.

A Marine raider battalion: giving USSOCoM a unique capability

Article Abstract:

A Marine raider battalion creates new and unique special operations capability that covers gaps in U.S. Special Operations Command's (USSOCoM) range of abilities and expands those abilities. It has been noted that the Marine raider battalion is the correct solution to address the Marine Corps contribution to USSOCoM.

The intelligence riflemen: A case for operationally grounded intelligence personnel

Article Abstract:

Marine intelligence should ensure that when its sends an individual Marine to a large government agency, he goes as Marine to a Marine unit interested in him and his billet within the joint structure keeping mindful of his title of Marine. The Marine Corps should consider establishing a Marine intelligence support battalion based on the model of the Marine Crypto logic Support Battalion, maintaining detachments or companies.
