Traditional and irregular war

Article Abstract:

The definition of traditional war that defies its as current joint doctrine, experienced best practices and logic is confusing and hence more precise and terms and language are available to articulate the real phenomena of 21st century war-fare and the needs of these times. Traditional warfare has encompassed peer-to-peer conflict wherein armed opponents would struggle for each other's destruction or the seizure of the key terrain.

The changing nature of war

Article Abstract:

The rules of war have changed steadily throughout history, and they have again changed dramatically with the 9/11/01 terrorists attacks. Terrorism makes everyone a potential victim, and cultures, rather than states, find themselves in conflict.
