Several firms have developed products which provide training systems for soldiers. The products include visual systems, realistic indoor and outdoor shooting ranges and advanced technologies which incorporate integrated computer imagery which improve tactical training and leadership skills. Training support for armoured personnel carriers

Article Abstract:

A number of interactive simulation systems are now available for the crews of armored personnel carriers (APCs). APCs, which are second only in importance to main battle tanks, are increasingly becoming sophisticated enough to warrant their own dedicated training systems. Some of these include the Gesi combat system developed for the German Army by CAE and the close combat tactical trainer for the US Army from Lockheed Martin.
