Training technology update: The availability of modeling and simulation training systems

Article Abstract:

Technology Division (TechDiv) provides training systems and support devices for Marine Corps from individual Marine to Marine air-ground task force and serves as the Marine Corps Modeling and Simulation Management Office and as a service lead for joint training of live, virtual and constructive (LVC) technology. The tools for training include Minor Training Devices, Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System 2000, indoor simulated marksmanship trainer and combat vehicle training system.

Training to foster implicit communications: Creating unit cohesiveness and success on the battlefield

Article Abstract:

Implicit communications foster unspoken, instantaneous understanding and interaction leading to beneficial results. Measures to facilitate the use of implicit communications in the Marine Corps are discussed, which include an understanding of the concept of implicit communications and the value of true unit cohesion.
