This product raises the standard in the industry with improvements made in the audio fidelity taking a queue from the DVD-Video surround sound. Jitter can be caused by flaws anywhere in the production chain: transports, data transmission, or analog-digital conversion. It is not a pressing issue in current CD player models, but could become a problem in new digital formats, or with higher sampling frequencies.
