A design for a little fun: easy to play and to forget

Article Abstract:

Two entertaining computer games that don't require much mental effort are Kiss Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child and Dracula Resurrection. Nightmare Child is quite violent, but feels like it has no plot. It remains exciting for about 20 of the 40 hours it takes to play the game. Dracula Resurrection can be completed in 10 hours, but is less likely to induce boredom. Both games are fun, easy to play, and quickly forgotten.

The owls you know, the devil you don't

Article Abstract:

'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' has become a video game from Electronic Arts but the news is not that good. The game is much to short, only a few hours, and it doesn't take advantage of the detailed plot line that the Harry Potter books provide. On the other hand, the new game 'Devil May Cry' by Capcom is a bit more intriguing but the levels are either way too hard or way too easy to master.

Shhhhh! Sleepwalking diplomat at work

Article Abstract:

In Sarbakan's Good Night, Mr. Snoozleberg, the player is to guide a sleeping diplomat through a night's errand without the diplomat waking up or coming to harm. The game is noteworthy for its use of Macromedia Flash: thought the graphics are simple, the game is as sophisticated as any game you might buy.
