AIC, ACF reviewing whether to cut fees: Firms respond to move by Fidelity

Article Abstract:

AIC Ltd. and AGF Management Ltd. revealed on November 25, 2004, that they are reviewing the management fees investors pay for their mutual funds, a day after Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. announced that it would slash fees across the board on its funds in January 2005. The investors look forward for lower fees but the industry sources warned on November 25, 2004, that the trend could have a negative impact on the profitability of fund companies.
