Ahold Reaches A Settlement With the S.E.C

Dutch food industry giant, Royal Ahold N.V., which also owns several American supermarkets, is under investigation for accounting fraud. The Securities and Exchange Commission has charged four senior executives with criminal fraud, for misleading investors with false financial statements.
