Article Abstract:

Arctic Group Inc has grown to become the biggest packaged ice manufacturer in Canada, thanks in large part to president Robert Nagy. Nagy joined the company in 1971 as a bag boy, moved up the management ladder and bought the company with a partner in 1986. His growth-through-acquisition strategy was a success as sales have increased from less than $5 million in fiscal 1996 to $9.5 million for the year ended Apr 30, 1998.
