Air Canada creditors push for larger role in restructuring

Creditors of Air Canada have banded together to seek payment of over $800 million in debts from the bankrupt airline. The group, which is called the Ad Hoc Senior Financial Creditors, already has received payments of over $100 million from Air Canada.

Air Canada's pension deficit balloons

Air Canada posted a 500 million Canadian dollar rise in its pension deficit from the start of 2003. The carrier's pension deficit now stands at 1.8 billion Canadian dollars.
