Air Canada's focus on business traveller pays off

Article Abstract:

Air Canada has received a number of citations for its efforts to significantly improve its business-class service. The Air Transport World magazine has named the airline the best passenger-service carrier and was also cited as the best North American domestic carrier for both short- and long-haul travel in the Official Airline Guide Airline of the Year awards. The carrier also earned a silver citation for its business/executive class within North America.

Article Abstract:

Airlines are setting up self-service kiosks to facilitate the handling of passengers. Airline customers have long complained about the long time it took to get aboard the plane and new technologies are now enabling airlines to seriously address this problem. Self-service kiosks not only give customers faster service, but also more opportunities for airlines to generate more revenues.

On the scenario of the 2003 Baby Boomer Consumer Show held in Ottawa the parent-child relationship in today's generation is compared with the baby boomer generation. The young generation is found to be stressed than the boomer generation in many aspects.
