The article also discusses reasons why more analysts covering Nortel did not foresee the slowdown in market expansion for Nortel and other telecommunications companies.

U.S. venture firms target millions for Ottawa

Article Abstract:

Menlo Park, Calif.-based Mohr, Davidow Ventures, which is a venture capital company, will invest approximately $150 million in the Ottawa province. Other venture capital companies, such as Boston, Mass.-based Greylock Partners, also are targeting the Ottawa area.
