Article Abstract:
Two court cases are being heard in Utah concerning the Mormon practice of polygamy. A 16-year-old girl claims she was forced to become her uncle's 15th wife when she was 15 years old. A group of former "sister wives" in Salt Lake City, UT, opposes plural marriage on the grounds that it fosters offenses such as welfare fraud and underage sex.
