Auctions go through roof at Ritchie

British Columbia based Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers Inc., one of the world's leading auctioneers of giant cranes, and other types of industrial equipments, have forecasted an upward swing for auction sales. According to the company, the auction sales for the second quarter of 2005 are likely to go up to $ (United States) 625 million.

Worldwide Fiber plans stock IPO

Kinetek plans $25-million IPO to fund medical research

Vancouver, BC-based Kinetek Pharmaceuticals Inc. has announced it will launch an initial public offering that is expected to raise approxiamtely $25 million. Kinetek, which will use the funds for drug research, is developing anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory drugs.
