Charged in the Milgaard case: the DNA pointed to Larry Fisher

Article Abstract:

Wrongful murder convictions because of the narrow focus of police investigation is not that rare. Fortunately new DNA evidence freed Milgaard and also Guy Paul Morin. Fisher is being investigated as the murderer in the Milgaard case. Police mindset and the nature of their investigations are discussed.

'We killed this chick': a Regina murder trial has racial undercurrents

Race may have been the motive for the murder of Pamela George, 28, a native American and a prostitute. Witnesses have stated that her accused killers, Steven Kummerfield amd Alex Ternowetsky, both 20, middle class and white, bragged about committing the crime.

Theresa Stevenson opened Chili for Children in 1986 to serve food to underprivileged children in Regina, Saskatchewan. She serves meals to 200 children per day and has developed another program to help children in need.
