Article Abstract:

The United States (US) Army's preference for lighter and faster infantry over the old-style treaded vehicles has raised questions regarding their effectiveness that was tested during the Iraq war, where many US soldiers died. The army is promoting the development, manufacture and use of the light weight Stryker Armored Vehicle, even though they do not protect the soldiers from rocket-propelled grenades and other types of explosives.

A troubled hunt

Article Abstract:

Critics believe that Osama bin Laden would never be captured by US military policy if the US does not change its policy. Gary Schroen, a former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer informed that US diplomats should convince Pakistani government and military to search Osama bin Laden in the year 2005 as two Taliban operatives revealed that Laden has settled in a secret, safe base along the northern Afghanistan-Pakistan border.

Life after Arafat

Article Abstract:

Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat had promised his people a state forged through bullets and blood, however, he failed in his mission. Officials from Israel and the United States are observing the situation in Palestine, and wonder if ArafatEs death can bring a new chance for peace in the Middle East.
