Citigroup's Brokerage Unit Is Fined by Stock Exchange

Article Abstract:

The New York Stock Exchange fined Salomon Smith Barney $1 million for being lax in supervision of brokers who were providing clients with bad advice about WorldCom stock. The action was brought by former WorldCom employees who lost all the value in their stock option plans ?when the company went bankrupt.
