Labor unions' future: Busting unions

Article Abstract:

The Ronald Regan administration opposed strikes by union members, dismissing them and later the Bush administration revoked union-friendly steps enacted in Bill Clinton's presidential term. The labor memberships were dwindling, the presidential candidates supported by union members had lost and by 2003, labor activists felt the time had come for a change.

Thousands of children are living and dying in the filthy, dangerous conditions with a parent or guardian who is either making or using methamphetamine. In 2003, nearly 70 percent of the children were present when officers raided meth labs tested positive for toxic levels of chemicals
