E-cash: a looming financial revolution

Article Abstract:

The impact of electronic cash will likely include the elimination of paper money and the gradual obsolescence of ATMs, checks and possibly currency traders. The present status of E-banking is described, as is the impact it will have on tax shelters, computer security, and individual currencies.

Inventing a new Canada on Oct. 26

Article Abstract:

Canada will change after Oct 26, 1992, no matter how the constitutional accord is voted. A defeat would cause a divisive government and a loss of tradition. National party leaders approve the referendum as a measure to allow citizens to participate in decision-making.
