Institute statement: tax management

Article Abstract:

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy has come up with guidelines that will benefit its members in the management of their taxes. Public sector bodies, which previously enjoyed tax exemptions, have to be knowledgeable of tax management procedures to keep up with recent developments concerning taxation issues. Several techniques in the management of taxes and the duties of chief financial officers of public sector bodies are described.
