Firestone rating down, but not out

Article Abstract:

A survey taken after Bridgestone/Firestone Inc announced a recall of 6.5 million tires showed that the company's consumer rating dropped, but is still above several tire companies. Part of the survey, which was conducted by Michigan-based research firm Planning Edge, asked 700 consumers their rating of the company in terms of enhancing the value of a sport-utility vehicle. According to the survey, other tire brands that remain below the Firestone brand include Continental, Dunlop and General.
