The Australian school formal is no longer a humble party in the school hall, but a professionally run and sophisticated evening which is a part of a multi-million-dollar industry. Formals are a film fantasy for teenagers who want to emulate their favorite stars and are becoming a financial black hole for parents who end up spending thousands of dollars on the clothes, shoes accessories, make-up, ticket and transport for the evening.

Eric Zola, Chris Stropolis along with Jayson Lamb shot into fame in the film fraternity for making a remake of film 'Indiana Jones' scene by scene, which they started in their childhood and completed over a stretch of seven years. They got appreciated by the Steven Spielberg, well-known Hollywood director for their efforts and along with touring in the colleges and festive circuit they also started doing preproduction for a film.

The new $30m Juniperina Juvenile Justice Center at Lidcombe in Sydney's western suburbs which opened in August 2005 introduces an innovative music program to help children who have no way of voicing their emotions, especially those from abused and neglected background, who often end up in a cycle of substance abuse and crime. Music brings joy and gives these young people a chance to express themselves by creating their own.
