Growing number of health-conscious consumers are using pills in hopes of increasing their intelligence. The supposed IQ-enhancing drinks and drugs contain vitamins and amino acids. Doctors dismiss the claims, but admit that some drugs may enhance the brain functions of stroke-sufferers, but not a healthy person.

Animal farms: are zoos and circuses causing suffering?

Several Canadian cities are attempting to upgrade the standards with which zoo and circus animals must be treated. The matter of public safety and protection of the animals is discussed. Protection laws are emphasized to help the wild animals.
