GlycoDesign acquires Vascular Therapeutics

Article Abstract:

Mountain View, CA-based Vascular Therapeutics Inc was purchased by Toronto, Canada-based GlycoDesign Inc for five million common sharesworth C$15 million. Jeremy Carver, GlycoDesign's president, said the deal merges GlycoDesign's expertise in glycotherapeutics with Vascular Therapeutics' development of glucotherapeutics that prevent and treat cardiovascular disease.
