Google's book battle

Article Abstract:

Employees of the search engine, Google, are getting ready to scan books given by the University of Michigan, Harvard and Stanford and making digital copies, which will then be made accessible and searchable to the 80 million Internet users. Five major publishers, working through their trade group, the Association of American Publishers, sued in a New York federal court to stop Google as they feel that by making electronic copies, the search giant is committing massive copyright infringement.

Many others travel the world fixing machines, creating artwork for motion pictures, and training workers.
