HPV vaccine: At issue: Will the HPV vaccine promote promiscuity?

Article Abstract:

A debate is presented on whether the availability of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine will promote promiscuity. While one expert believes that parental involvement in advising their children against promiscuity is important especially when the vaccine is available, another states that administering the HPV vaccine instead of advising the youth about abstinence will save several lives.

Should cosmetic surgery be off-limits to teens?

Article Abstract:

A debate is presented on the issue that should cosmetic surgery be allowed to the teens. While Michael J.Olding Chief, Division of plastic Surgery, the George Washington University School of Medicine supports the issue, Arthur L. Caplan chairman, of department of medical ethics university of Pennsylvan school of medicine believes that cosmetics surgery should not be allowed to teenagers.

Dateline NBC' profiled the case of four women who had done cosmetic surgery in the Dominican Republic where three contracted infections that almost killed them and the fourth died after the surgery was done.
