HPV vaccine: FDA action, clinical trials

Article Abstract:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is deliberating on the provision of a license to the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine Cervarix developed by GlaxoSmithKline, similar to Merck's Gardasil. Several clinical trials are also being conducted on both vaccines to monitor their safety, effectiveness and their effects when used with other immunizations.
