The studies state that apart from bonus shares in the new company, they could hope to have priority in a forthcoming cash issue for the new company, which would seek $4 m through a public offering of 20 million shares at 20 cents planned for April-May 2004.

The value of exports from this region exceeds $900 m a year and the success of a mining project depends on the grade and depth of the heavy minerals since most of the cost is in shifting sand.
