Heretic of the funds management creed

Article Abstract:

Andrew Mohl, an Australian investment strategist who manages $54 bil in funds, believes in combining both active and passive investments in a portfolio. Mohl was known as a financial heretic in 1998 for his support of passive investments, which track stock indexes rather than aim to outperform them. Mohl and his director of marketing and strategy, Mark O'Brien, believe in 1999 that active and passive investments are not mutually exclusive.
