How did it happen; truth remains elusive at the Morin inquiry

Morin's wrongful conviction inquiry has raised serious doubts about the credibility of two jailhouse informants, Robert Dean May, and Mr. X, a convicted pedophile. The inquiry has also raised the possibility that police manipulated evidence.

Morin fights back: a murder case stirs the legal community

Article Abstract:

Morin was convicted in 1992 of the 1984 murder of nine-year-old Christine Jessop in Queensville, Ontario. He says he is innocent of the crime and his lawyers will appeal the conviction based on many legal errors and questionable evidence.

Righting a wrong

Article Abstract:

Guy Paul Morin, who was convicted on appeal in Ontario of raping and murdering Christine Jessop, was officially exonerated when DNA evidence showed that semen on Jessop's clothing was not Morin's. Morin's ten-year ordeal is described.
