In-flight movies jettison adult scenes

Article Abstract:

Movies shown in airlines, cruise ships, military bases as well as prisons should be chosen or edited carefully to suit their intended audience. For Jeff Crawford, Warner Bros' director of non-theatrical sales, the editing process of such films can be easy or difficult. On the other hand, Bob Williams, United Airlines' onboard entertainment manager, find the process difficult for airlines. According to Rob Brookier, spokesman for the World Airlines Entertainment Assn, favorites on aircraft are comedies, romantic and light adventure.

Fuel shortage brews in California

Article Abstract:

California regulators announced on Jan 19, 2001, that they have granted oil pipeline regulators a one-week reprieve from being hit with temporary power outages. The pipelines, which are operated by electric pumps, were hit by a series of 18-hour shutdowns over three days in the 2nd week of Jan 2001 that drove gas supplies to dangerously low levels. The move of state regulators aims to provide adequate supply of gasoline, jet and diesel fuel.
