Article Abstract:

As the United States takes on a more dominant role in international issues, international laws as mandated by the United Nations and International Criminal Court are seen to have a bearing on some of the verdicts of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has been criticized by conservatives for referring to International law on some of its verdicts. The conservatives are of the opinion that the Supreme Court should stick to interpreting the US constitution and not refer to laws of other regions.
