The relationship between the Canadian government and Quebec is like a bad marriage. Instead of examining the real problem, the parties focus on divorce. The separatist Parti Quebec is so successful because it offers an alternative to the incompetent leadership of Prime Minister Jean Chretien.

A case against Rocks' gun controls

Article Abstract:

Rock's gun control proposal is ill-conceived. It would be costly to implement, and it would violate civil rights. Not only will the legislation be ineffective, it may even function to encourage more people to buy guns.

Canada is a tyranny of excess tolerance

Politicians in Canada are too polite. Instead of making decisions, they spend time listening to too many viewpoints. An example is the large number of ludicrous grants given in such areas as meat sculpture.
