Kraft sues Schwan's, putting spotlight on corporate spying

Article Abstract:

Kraft Foods has sued Schwan's Sales Enterprises for the alleged theft of trade secrets over their competing frozen pizza brands. The company claimed Schwan's hired an AC Nielsen employee who brought along competitive information about Kraft with him to Schwan's. As evidence, Kraft included as evidence a chapter from Marc Barry's new book 'Spooked: Espionage in Corporate America,' which detailed how he spied for Schwan's in rolling out its successful rising-crust pizza product called Freschetta.
