GI Bill of Rights, the ServicemanEs Readjustment Act of 1944, provided education and job-training vouchers to 8 million veterans. The government budget restraints and the rapidly rising cost of tuition have reduced GI Bill benefits due to which veterans struggle to pay even community college costs with the benefits provided under the Montgomery GI Bill.
