Article Abstract:

The Canadian Red Cross Society and Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto, Ontario) have been sued by recipients of blood transfusions for negligence and breach of contract. Both organizations did not notify the recipients that they might have been infected with the virus that causes AIDS.
