Magna chairman enjoys another lucrative payday

Aurora, Ont.-based Magna International Inc. paid its chairman, Frank Stronach, a compensation package that totalled $23.16 million in 1999. Magna International, which is an auto stampings company, paid its president and chief executive office a total compensation package of $4,100,000 in 1999.

Shareholders grill TransAlta on results
