Magna shares gain 8 per cent on 'excellent' profit report

Magna International Inc. saw its share value rise by 8% on May 3, 2001 as a result of a strong profit report. The company's share value rose to 86.16 Canadian dollars per share, a rise of 6.16 Canadian dollars.
