Societe Quebecoise d'Exploration Miniere agreed to acquire a 40% interest in the Sigma-Lamaque gold mine complex, located in Val d'Or, Quebeq, of McWatters Mining Inc., which filed a restructuring plan. The government agencies Investissement Quebec and Economic Development Corp. have agreed to provide loans to the mining company.
