Without neat plug-in modules, Visor suffers

Article Abstract:

Handspring, a palmtop computers manufacturer, has suffered low sales because of the unavailability of modules that can turn its Visor product into a digital camera, electronic book or MP3 player. For example, the EyeModule, which has a price of $150, can turn a Visor into a digital camera. The company is hoping to solve its problems as it intends to conduct an initial public offering and challenge leaders of the palmtop market.
