Remembrance of Proust's past

Article Abstract:

There are a number of places in Paris, France, that have associations with novelist Marcel Proust. It is possible to visit his apartment at 102 Boulevard Haussmann and see the room in which he spent 10 years writing 'A La Recherche du Temps Perdu.' This room has been renovated, and does not look much like it would have done when Proust used it as a bedroom. It is also worth visiting the Musee Carnavalet, where a much more authentic version of Proust's bedroom has been recreated, and the Musee Jacquemart-Andre, where displays show the wealth and style of the post-Third Empire period.
