Mystery flight

Article Abstract:

The U.S. authorities denied permission for the passenger plane, KLM Flight 685, which took off from Amsterdam for Mexico City, to fly over U.S. airspace, since they suspected two Saudi passengers on the plane to be alleged terrorists. The incident, which was not publicized by the U.S. government, was an illustration of just how difficult it has become to identify ordinary people from terrorists in the war on terror.
