Telstra is introducing a email system to tap into the 68% of the Australian market that is currently not using email. The system does not need a Net connection and will cost the same as a local call. Telstra is switching its entire analog network to digital and so analog users will have to buy dual mode mobile phones by Dec 1999. CDnow Net site has established itself as a successful music retailer.

Article Abstract:

US Nay officer Timothy McVeigh revealed he was gay to an America Online (AOL) member, and upon AOL's disclosure of this information to Navy investigators, he was terminated. No one is sure about McVeigh's sexuality, but he was terminated for saying he was gay. AOL has already admitted it breached its privacy policy.
