New Cott chief to get $425,000 (U.S.) salary

Article Abstract:

Cott Corp., a softdrink manufacturer in Toronto, Ontario, has decided to compensate Frank Weise with $425,000 in base salary per year as incoming president and chief executive officer. The company will award a bonus with a maximum value of 100% of Weise's salary should he meet certain requirements set between him and the company. Weise is replacing Gerald Pencer who worked as chairman and chief executive officer at Cott until his demise on February 3, 1998. Cott paid Pencer a salary of $830,769 for the fiscal year closing January 31, 1998.
