Nortel's future cloudy, but there is a plan

The Nortel Networks Corp. announcement in July 2004 that it was less profitable than been projected, where some analysts saw its outlook as mixed and uncertain is presented. Nortel revealed that it needed to cut costs because it could not meet its profit goals with its business structure, and would present plans which could include job cuts and other restructuring.
