Permutations Push Oreo Far Beyond Cookie Aisle

The Oreo cookie has several new friends on the supermarket shelf in the form of variations on the orginal Oreo . Known as the line extension approach to nre product development , Kraft has been creating new Oreo cookies, such as the Fudge Mint Covered Orea, the Oreo Double Stuf, M ini Oreo, Double Delight Oreo, Uh-Oh Oreo, Oreo Cookie Barz, Foorball Oreo, and Oreo Cookie and Cream Pie. The ultimate Oreo promotion involves a cookie that turns blue when dunked in milk and awards the user, or consumer, a $1 million dollar prize for having purchased the right package with the winning cookie.
